We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
If you use our early-access or contact form, we collect only the details you choose to provide:
- Your name and email address
- The interest you select (e.g. early-access user, partner, investor, press, developer)
- Any message you write
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or profiling. To understand how the site is used, we collect anonymous, aggregate visit statistics — pages viewed, approximate visitor counts, referring sites, and browser/device type — using our own first-party measurement: no cookies, no storing of your IP address, and no profile of you. We honour your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs (such as IP address) for security and reliability.
Why we use it
We use your details only to respond to you and, if you request early access, to contact you about Morgan and Emotional Computing. Our lawful bases are your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Where your data is held
Data you submit through this site is received by us in the United Kingdom. We use reputable service providers (such as our hosting and email providers) to process it on our behalf under appropriate data-protection terms. We never sell your data or use it for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep it
We keep early-access and enquiry details for up to 18 months, or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first — and we delete them promptly on request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR (and EU GDPR where applicable) you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@emotionalcomputing.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Our visitor statistics are measured without cookies of any kind (see “What we collect” above).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
