Reads the room
Morgan takes in the time of day, what's been happening, and how you've put things, then shapes not just what it says, but how it's said.
Emotional Computing: presence, engineered
Morgan™ is a personal AI presence: one companion that speaks, remembers, and gets things done for you, and asks before it acts. Not a chatbot in a window; a presence that moves with you across voice, screen and device.
Patent-pending platformPrivacy-firstUK-built
Everyone is building assistants. We are building a presence.
An assistant waits for a command and forgets you when the window closes. Morgan carries the thread (the memory, the context, the relationship) and stays.
Morgan
Morgan is Emotional Computing's flagship, an AI engineered for continuity, timing and tone: the qualities that make interaction feel coherent over months, not just a single reply. Built as one presence, not a bag of parts.
Morgan takes in the time of day, what's been happening, and how you've put things, then shapes not just what it says, but how it's said.
Morgan doesn't just reply: it answers with a character all its own. One consistent voice, with rhythm and warmth that's unmistakably Morgan's.
Morgan separates what mattered from what was passing. It remembers the people in your life, what you told it and what you meant, and comes back to it weeks later.
For the hardest questions, ask Morgan to summon the council: a panel of expert models it commands, weighs in parallel, and resolves into one voice. You command Morgan. Morgan commands the council.
The platform
Morgan isn't a suite of apps: it's one presence that takes different forms. Some arrive at launch; others are on the way. The same memory, the same character, wherever life happens.
Presence for the home: a companion that lives with you and the people you love.
Morgan on the move: the same presence across phone, desktop and device.
Morgan on your machine, with the heavy reasoning handled in the cloud.
Bring your own models and run Morgan entirely on your machine: no cloud, nothing leaving your device.
Continuity and scale: memory and orchestration, everywhere at once.
Every action passes through a gate and is written to a record you can check, and the steps that reach beyond your machine ask you first.
Build with Morgan: emotional computing as infrastructure for your own products.
One platform · one presence · many forms
Capabilities
What Morgan actually does: hold a real conversation, remember across tasks, draft and create, and act through your tools with permission, held together as one coherent presence, not a bag of features.
Morgan takes its cue from you (whether you were talking to it, the time of day, how you've put things) and waits when it should. It doesn't talk over you, and it stays out of conversations that aren't with it.
More than flat answers: expressive delivery with rhythm, nuance and character, generated fresh every time.
Morgan remembers. Not just facts, but what happened, what you said and what it meant to you, across every conversation.
Natural, interruptible speech that knows who's talking: a conversation, not a transaction.
With your say-so, Morgan doesn't just answer. It acts for you: drafting mail, building documents and decks, creating images and video. By default, anything that reaches beyond your machine is confirmed with you first, and everything it does is written to a record you can check.
One continuous identity across every surface. The same Morgan, wherever you are.
The relationship
Most AI resets to a stranger every session. Morgan doesn't: it learns from every conversation. There's no clock on it: the more you talk, the more it becomes yours.
From hello
Morgan arrives ready: voice, memory and judgement already switched on. From your very first conversation it's learning your name and how you like to be spoken to.
As you talk
Conversation by conversation, the patterns settle: who matters to you, what you care about, the shorthand between you. Morgan starts responding less like a tool and more like something that's been paying attention.
The deeper you go
Enough shared history and Morgan becomes unmistakably yours: continuity, inside references, the callback to a conversation you'd half-forgotten. A presence in your life, not an app you open.
A companion for your life, not a replacement for it.
Morgan's warmth is in service of being useful and present: helping you through the day and looking after the people you love. The bond deepens with trust, not romance, built to strengthen your relationships, never to stand in for them.
Personalisation
Choose the voice that feels right, female or male, the moment you meet Morgan, and change it whenever you like. The SDK opens a growing library of voices, with signature and premium options on the way.
Technology
Morgan is a purpose-built stack, not a prompt wrapped around someone else's API. Models, memory, voice, tools and interface are coordinated through one orchestration layer, so it behaves like a single presence rather than parts stitched together. That layer, not any one model, is the moat.
Anyone can wrap a prompt around someone else's model. We engineered the layers underneath: the parts that make Morgan feel like Morgan.
Presence, memory and judgement aren't bolted onto a chatbot. They're built into the foundation, designed, owned, and improved as its own system.
Morgan is designed to run well on real home machines, not only in a data centre, and to keep getting better as that hardware improves over time.
It takes the moment into account (what's been said, when, and how) and shapes how Morgan speaks, not just what it says.
By default, every action is checked before it runs and anything that reaches beyond your machine asks you first, so what Morgan reads, whether a web page, an email or a document, doesn't get to act for you. What Morgan does is written to a record you can check.
Your data isn't the product. Your memory is held in the UK, never sold and never used to profile you. Privacy is designed into how Morgan works, not bolted on afterwards.
Morgan isn't built on one company's AI. It routes each request to the best-suited model, and can convene several at once, so it's never limited by a single provider's blind spots, and only grows stronger as the models do.
About
Emotional Computing is a research-led AI company built around a single conviction: that the next frontier of intelligence is not raw computational power, but emotional resonance.
We build AI that people can keep in their lives: present, consistent, and careful with what it's trusted to do. Not just a correct answer, but something that's there.
Our work sits where affective computing, narrative AI and human-centred design meet, forging companions worthy of the trust people place in them.
Founder
A solo founder · Emotional Computing
Morgan began as a question: what would it take for an AI to be worth keeping around? Not to perform attentiveness for a session, but to be there, consistently, for years.
As a solo founder, every decision is made with conviction rather than committee. That clarity shapes everything, from the engineering philosophy to the ethics embedded in Morgan's design.
The vision is not a chatbot empire. It is a single, extraordinary companion: one that deepens over years, trusted by the people it's there for.
It's built and being hardened now: voice, memory, orchestration and safety coming together toward a first wave of early access. Not announced from behind a curtain, but shown as it's earned.
For me, launch is a beginning, not a finish line.
"We are building an AI that earns its place in your life, rather than demanding it."

Questions
The things people ask before they add their name. If yours is not here, write to us; we read every message.
Morgan is a personal AI presence made by Emotional Computing, a UK company. It lives on your computer and rides along on your phone, remembers you between conversations, does real work through the apps and tools you already use, and by default asks before it does anything that reaches beyond your machine.
More than a chat window: you can talk to it or type to it, and it is there while you work rather than in a panel you have to open.
Ask and it does the work. Morgan drives the desktop and the browser, writes and runs code, edits files, writes documents, spreadsheets and decks, handles email and calendar, plays your music, and generates images and video. You can talk to it, type to it, or show it something. Everything it does is with your say-so.
By default, anything that reaches beyond your machine, such as sending an email or submitting a form, is confirmed with you first. Every action Morgan takes is written to a record you can read afterwards. You can let it act because you can check what it did.
The full Morgan runs on your computer, and the actions it takes run there too. Your memory is held in the United Kingdom. Its heavier thinking uses cloud AI models, so you need an internet connection and an early-access account. As on-device support grows, more of Morgan will run locally on capable hardware.
No. Your conversations are never used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else’s. Your data is not sold and you are not profiled for advertising. You can review and delete what Morgan remembers, or ask for everything to be deleted. The details are in the Morgan Privacy Notice.
Yes. Morgan remembers the people in your life, your preferences, what you told it and what you meant, and comes back to it weeks later. That memory carries between your devices, so a conversation started on your computer continues on your phone. There is no clock on it: the more you talk, the more it becomes yours.
Yes. Morgan knows your voice, tells you apart from other people in the room, and only answers when you are talking to it. It does not talk over you, and it stays out of conversations that are not with it.
The full Morgan runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) first, with macOS to follow. Morgan Lite, the companion for your phone and tablet, runs on Android 9 and later, and on iPhone and iPad with iOS and iPadOS 17 and later. They are not separate Morgans: one presence that stays in sync. See the download page.
Morgan is built and being hardened now, and private beta is close. Early access opens in stages: add your name and you will be among the first invited. Tell us what you would use Morgan for; it helps us shape the first wave.
Plans and pricing are published at launch. Morgan is offered in tiers: Basic, Pro and Max for the home, a Studio tier for developers, and per-seat Enterprise plans for organisations. Tier names are indicative and may change before launch. See pricing.
No. Morgan is a companion for your life, not a replacement for it: there to help you through the day and to look after the people you love. The bond deepens with trust, not romance.
